Invitrogen ELISA kits exist in two formats: Uncoated and Coated. Uncoated ELISA kits include all the necessary reagents to coat your own plates and run your assay with maximum flexibility. Coated ELISA kits are ready-to-use and quality tested for sensitivity, specificity, precision and lot-to-lot consistency.

Target Information

SIRP gamma (CD172g) recognizes a 55 kDa signal regulatory protein which is a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. SIRP gamma is expressed on most T lymphocytes and a subset of B-cells but is absent on myeloid cells. CD172g has a truncated cytoplasmic tail, which is similar to SIRP beta, but unlike SIRP beta CD172g does not require DAP12 for expression at the cell surface. CD172g, like SIRP alpha, binds to CD47 inducing apoptosis. SIRP gamma is also involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signalling.
